I ordered the standard ‘Chimella’ after seeing a demonstration a year ago in Harrogate in 2019. I was so impressed at the time and since have moved into a Bungalow which has a retained open fire place. Last Christmas both myself and wife Liz thought the living room was cold, well freezing I’d put it, even with the central heating on. We didn’t use the open fire at the time and never put two-and-two together that we were losing heat up the chimney. After seeing Simon’s video on just how much heat we were losing, we remembered seeing the ‘Chimella’ at Harrogate an investigated online. So, we had a chat together and sent off for our ‘Chimella’. Like most men, when the product arrived, I immediately got it out the box, read the instructions and the run straight to the chimney as if it were Christmas. Now I have to say at this point, I did something wrong! So, I emailed Simon and was stunned to have a private one-to-one Facetime chat with him and my problem was solved in less than a minute. ‘Chimella’ have great video’s which guide you through installation and even one in case of problems, but what a product! I fully endorse the ‘Chimella’ as it works for me and I’m sure it’ll work for you too. For anyone who hates losing money up the chimney, this may be the product for you.

Message: Very impressed with the customer service and back-up. We purchased a Chimella about 7 years ago and have used it successfully since then. Unfortunately earlier this year, small part of the moulding on the extending handle failed. As a Chartered Engineer for Loctite, I knew which adhesive was best and used LOCTITE HY 4070 which repaired it successfully. I mentioned this briefly to the Stand Owner at the Ideal Home Show and he gave me a replacement part which is fantastic customer service for a product which was bought along time ago and has been utterly transformational in keep our home warm.
